For UGG®
Australia branded sheepskin boots, you can ensure maximum water
repellency and protect against stains by using their special Sheepskin
Water and Stain Repellent.
When it comes to cleaning, UGG® Australia recommend
their Sheepskin Cleaner & Conditioner which
is formulated from natural products using coconut and jojoba oils.
Hand wash only - DO NOT put in washing machine!
Wet entire boot or shoe with cold water. Apply small
amount of UGG® Australia Sheepskin Cleaner to a clean sponge
or soft brush.
Clean entire area thoroughly and evenly and then rinse
in cold water.
Reshape your ugg boots by stuffing them with paper
towel. Then, allow them to dry naturally and slowly - DO NOT dry
in direct heat or sunlight.

For Jumbo Ugg Boots,
they recommend their Woolskin Water & Oil Repellent (200
ml) which you can buy ($8) when you purchase their boots
Woolskin Water & Oil Repellent spray is
specifically formulated to protect all sheepskin boots in harsh
weather conditions or after you have washed them. It provides a
breathable layer of protection against water, snow dirt and stains
that keeps these elements on the surface where they can be easily
wiped away. Your Uggs Boots are not weatherproof so you will need
to weather proof them with Woolskin Water & Oil Repellent spray.
Weather proofing your sheepskin boots will increase their life.

The full range
of Jumbo Ugg Boot footwear can be safely machine or hand washed in
the the same manner as delicate woolens using luke warm or cold water
and mild woolen friendly detergent. The guys who make Jumbo Ugg Boots
recommend a sheepskin shampoo called "Woolskin"
expressly formulated for this purpose. |
| Woolskin Sheepskin Shampoo (250ml)
($8) contains Australian Tea Tree Oil - effective against
dust, mite and pet allergen. It is biodegradable and contains a unique
blend of surfactants, chelating and conditioning agents that will
lubricate the sheepskin and give a distinct lustre and handle to the
wool fibre. It conditions and even improves sheepskin leather and
wool with repeated use. Also contains a bacteriostat that will disinfect
the boots resulting in the elimination of residual odours due to bacterial
or fungal action. Use 20 ml of Woolskin per kilogram. Contains enough
to wash your boots 10 times. |

Drying: If washing by machine, spin dry ensuring
the load is balanced. If hand washing your uggs boots, squeeze excess
water Do not wring dry - Tumble dry in warm- Not HOT - Dryer or,
place in a warm room & let dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight
& heaters. You may also want to fill out your boots with some
newspaper to maintain the shape while drying naturally.
If you have a grease stain on your footwear, use a
razor or sharp knife to scrub some powder from a white chalk over
the stain, leave it for a few minutes. Then blow away the access
chalk and with your hand, gently rub the stain. Repeat this a few
times until the stain has almost disappeared. For extremely tough
stains you can gently rub the stain with sandpaper but beware that
this may take the colour away.
